Mr Ashish Mittal as the Founder and Managing Director oversees the overall development& conceptualization, investments & planning and operations of the group. He comes from a Garment Trading business background and has been in the Garment business for over 18 years now. In 2011 he diversified his businesses and engaged himself in setting up an upscale 4 Star Luxury Resort in Goa namely “Golden Tulip Grand View Resort, which happens to a part of the chain of renowned brand of Louvre Hotels Worldwide, the world’s 5th largest hotel company. His interest and passion in this field helped him setup two more restaurants, namely “Masalas and More”, and a Restopub named “Ten Downing Street “ , apart from a small boutique guest house called “Tina’s Inn Boutique Guest Rooms” in Goa. He has also set up a Wellness Resort based on the concepts of Yoga and Ayurveda, namely “Manthan Yogic Village, Morjim Beach”, again in Goa. He is also set to launch another Hotel under the Golden Tulip Brand in Kolkata this year, apart from another beach Resort in Goa. He is also engaged in various real estate projects in Kolkata, Hyderabad, and New Delhi & Goa apart from other cities in India. His team handling skill and in depth understanding of processes and his teams makes him a truly inspirational leader.He is also the recipient of National Industrial Excellence award by National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India and in 2014 and “Indira Gandhi Sadbhawana Award” from International Business Council in 2015 for his outstanding achievements.
Mrs. Shalini Mittal as Executive Director is in charge of the strategic priorities established by the Board and provides leadership, vision and direction to the group.With her background of commerce, she impeccably excelled as a business leader while balancing the role of a homemaker on the other front. Thereafter, she joined Mr. Ashish Mittal as his business partner with a vision of to create a legacy for Map5 group, while concentrating on solid and futuristic direction. She has been actively involved in the working of Map5 from day one. Today, as the Executive Director by designation Mrs. Mittal stands as the motivator and mentor to all the members, employees and volunteers of the group.
As corporate General Manager – Finance, Mr Varun Sharma oversees the Company’s financial management. He planned and executed the set up, sustainability and financial operations of the Golden Tulip Grand View Resort, Goa since its inception in 2012. He is responsible for Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit and Investment Subsidiaries of the Company.Varun Sharma is A Chartered Accountant has over 5 Years of Experience in Accounting, Taxation, Audit, System Implementation, Costing and other Financial Operations.He is responsible for overall reporting to management with regards to Finance of the Hotel and overseas the day to day financial operations of the Resort.
Rahim Wallani is a graduate of IHM, Mumbai and has a vast experience of being associated with The Apeejay Park Hotels, The Ramada ( Wyndham Hotels Group), The Royal Tulip (Louve Hotels Group). He is Alumi of the Apeejay Park hotels Management Training Program. He has also been a consultant to the Food & Beverage industry, with associations with China Joe, Jazz by the Bay, The Pizzeria, Just around the corner, Birdys Cake and Patisserie Shops, Dosa Diner & Roti to name a few in Mumbai. He has a keen eye for detail and specializes in setting up and optimizing hotel operations through effective management.
Abhijit Dey has over 20 years of experience behind him. Having graduated from Osmania University he went on to complete Hotel Management Diploma and Travel and Tourism Diploma from Institute of Advanced Management – Kolkata. Before starting Starline he was the CEO of the prestigious Cambay Group of Hotels. Previously he has held esteemed positions at the Taj Group of Hotels, K Raheja Group of Hotels and Regency Hotels Pvt. Ltd.
Varsha Bhanushali has been associated with prestigious hotels in her career starting with K Raheja Group of Hotels. She has a creative and enthusiastic mind and is one of the driving forces behind the goal oriented culture in the company. Coupled with her strong customer focus and proven track record, she helps making positive contributions towards business improvement and teamwork and is particularly valued for her strong prioritization and time management skills with particular focus on meeting deadlines.
Jitendar heads the operations for the Eastern Region of the Company. He has been associated with Sarovar Hotels, Holiday Inn Hotels, Chocolate Hotels, HHI Hotels, Royal Tulip Hotels and Pizza Hut in the past. Jitendar is a go getter and helps the company reestablishing its presence in the western region through his key focus areas of customer orientation and experience, cost control, quality assurance and peoples skills.
Having done his Masters in Commerce, along with a enriching experience of having worked in hotels like ITC Fortune Select Exotica- Vashi, ITC Fortune Select Regina-Goa, Acron Waterfront Resort-Goa, Tree House Neptune-Goa and the Golden Tulip Grand View Resort-Goa in the varied capacities of Accounts, Finance, and Taxation Manager, Vivek also has a keen Focus and Expertise on Audits, IT Returns, MIS Reports, P&L Statements, Govt and Bank Liaisoning, Costing, Statutory Compliances, Debtors and Creditors and maintenance of Financial Ledgers and Accounting processes. Vivek Spearheads the Finance Department of the Western Region Operational and Upcoming Projects of the company.
Lokesh brings with him an enriching experience of having worked in companies like Wizard Enterprises, Kolkata Cabs among others. He is very passionate about his job and brings a lot of creativity in his style. He has successfully managed and executed a lot of events for the company.
